HOUSE CONFERENCE STATEMENT ON NICHOLSON SWITCH

Jackson, Miss – Mississippi House Republican Conference Leader Rep. Mark Baker (R-Brandon) released the following statement today:

 

“The Mississippi House Republican Conference is thrilled to salute Rep. Billy Nicholson (R-Little Rock) as the newest member of our group. For years, Mississippi’s Democratic leaders have shunned honorable public servants like Rep. Nicholson by ignoring conservative principles and resisting forward progress for our state. Naturally, this leaves conservative Democrats without a home. We’re glad to welcome Billy into the Party of his beliefs and expect others will follow his leadership.”
