JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Republican Party today applauded Governor Tate Reeves and the Mississippi State Legislature upon enactment of the Pregnancy Resource Act. This legislation authorizes a $3.5 million tax credit for donations to pregnancy resource centers or crisis pregnancy centers across the state.
“In Mississippi, we not only protect life, but celebrate a culture of life,” said Mississippi Republican Party Chairman Frank Bordeaux. “Over the last year, the nation has looked to Mississippi to defend the unborn before the U.S. Supreme Court. Now, we are again leading by example to ensure those unborn babies and their mothers have the resources they need to carry out a healthy pregnancy. I applaud Governor Tate Reeves and the Mississippi Legislature setting an example of what pro-life truly means.”
